25 km from Lyon city centre (frequent rail service).
SATOBUS : shuttle buses run between the airport and Lyon city centre.
Frequency: every 20 min (from 5.00 in the morning to 23.00, 7 days a week).
During the weekday rush hour (between 8.00 and 9.00), the frequency increases to every 10 min.
Travel time: 45 minutes
One-way ticket: €8.40 - Return ticket €14.90

The Part-Dieu rail station is 20 minutes from the "Centre de Congrès" convention centre: take the bus n°47 towards "Cité Internationale".
The Perrache rail station is 30 minutes from the "Centre de Congrès" convention centre: take subway line A, alight at the "Foch" stop and then take bus n°4 towards "Cité Internationale".

Lyon-Paris: a TGV high-speed train roughly every 30 or 60 minutes.
There is also a direct rail service between Paris Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle airport and Lyon. Eight TGV high-speed trains in each direction daily, travel time around 2 hours.

Coming from Paris (A46 motorway) or Geneva (A42 motorway) - no road tolls on this itinerary:
Take the exit 1b "Tête d’Or– Le Tonkin", follow signs to "Part- Dieu-Tête d’Or".
Take the "Boulevard Laurent Bonnevay" road as far as the Poincaré roundabout.
Then follow signs to "Cité Internationale".Follow the Quai Charles de Gaulle road.

Itinerary via the northern ring road "Périphérique" and the "TEO" East-West tunnel (toll road).
Entry: Porte de Croix-Luizet
Exit: Porte de Saint- Clair, go as far as the Poincaré roundabout

Coming from Chambery-Grenoble (A43 motorway), Saint-Etienne (A47 motorway) or Marseille (A7 motorway), via the "Boulevard Périphérique Laurent Bonnevay" ring road
Take the "Périphérique Laurent Bonnevay" towards Bourg en Bresse.
Exit at the "Porte de Croix Luizet" and follow signs to Lyon Part-Dieu Tête d’Or.Follow the signs towards "Tête d’Or" as far as the Poincaré roundabout.

    Lyon public transport ("TCL")

The "Transports en Commun Lyonnais" (TCL) public transport network is dense and smooth-running:
two bus routes (n° 4 and C1) run directly to the "Centre de Congrès" convention centre.

The bus routes also link to:
• subway line A towards Presqu'île and the Perrache rail station.
• subway line B towards Part-Dieu rail station.
• subway line D towards the city centre and Old Town.• tramway lines T1 and T2 toward the university campuses and the Perrache rail station.

The C1 bus route (departing from the convention centre) links directly to the Part-Dieu rail station (for airport shuttles) in about 10 minutes.
